The origin of the kitchen witch is not known - but is believed to be a Northern European tradition.  Giving a Kitchen Witch to a friend or loved one is said to bring good luck and prosperity to the household.  "She keeps sauces from boiling over, roasts from burning, and the hearth fire crackling warm." 
Approximately 7" in length, she is created with chenille soft stems.  Her eyes are genuine Swarovski  Crystals.   She wears a faux gem or pearl necklace.
