Terry
Stevens has
been drawing and painting animals all her life.
Her father,
George Stevens, who started his career as a Disney animator, coached
and guided her talent.
The majority of her paintings have personal meaning and are not
available to the general public. In 1987, after being diagnosed
with terminal cancer, she took the opportunity to slow down, reassess
life, and spend quality time with her young son and spend more
time painting. Many of the works created during this period are
on display on this web site.
Terry says she feels positive that the spiritual connection
she had with her son, who was less than a year old at the time
of her cancer diagnosis, and the time spent therapeutically with
her animals, made it possible for her to beat the odds and be
here today to share her art work, love for animals, and her life
success story.
